open DOORS project will take part of the next Interreg MED event in Rome on 18th and 19th April 2018, named “MADE in MED". This event will present the first results and the impact of the Interreg MED’s 90 projects through a conference and an exhibition focusing on three transversal topics : climate change, blue economy and inclusive growth.
The aim is to illustrate how the InterregMed Programme has become a « living » integrated process with tangible contributions, where thematic communities speak in one way and to show how creativity and social innovation can be a driver for economic development and improvment.
Built around the concept of Fablab « Fabrication Laboratory » attendees will participate in interactive workshops with thinking area, debates, showcasing projects and ideas. Thus the conference will be articulated around 3 parts that will go crescendo :
1. Technical part : Presentation of the most successful results and how they have a relevant impact
2. Strategic part with PANORAMED : Presentation of the way to capitalise on project result, take them to an upper level and influence policies
3. Political part : current vision of the future of cooperation medium to long term, and how Programmes, projects and stakeholders fit in
The Mediterranean Social&Creativecommunity introduces itself through the metaphore of the coworking space, animated by testimonials and products of the cultural and creative industry and of social innovation.
This meeting will encourage to strengthen synergies between projects and the global message toward local and european partners.
