The "open DOORS" project, part of the MED interregional cooperation program, aims to deepen the knowledge of processes and mechanisms that facilitate the development of the sharing and collaborative economy and to promote a solid network of stakeholders to strengthen the collaborative economy and to allow its social control in order to try to maximize its positive effects in the economic, social and environmental fields, limiting its negative externalities, in particular linked to job precariousness or tax avoidance. With adequate mechanisms of promotion and regulation, the collaborative economy can in fact represent a factor of economic growth, territorial dynamism and social integration.
The project has launched a Mediterranean network of stakeholders on the sharing and collaborative economy, called MedShare to which all stakeholders are invited to join.
This network will have to discuss and share an action plan that will explore the dissemination of successful experiences, suggest appropriate regulations, explore innovative services for local creative communities, and ultimately facilitate new forms of collaborative economics.
